I like it very much ! This particular lecture is very complex and brilliant way of presenting by a doctor Vincent Racaniello.

This man has made microbiology really easy for me to revise I like him so much because he is knowledgeable and calm. I definitely don't dislike anything about him I will recommend to my colleagues medical students

so far I have been enjoying the course, would love to go back and continue when I'm not so occupied

The lectures are quite informative and clearly presented. It's like I'm attending a class for the very first time since I've taken an extended break from studying microbiology but I am confident that I will do well

I am updating my knowledge base in microbiology as I dive into teaching the course on a more regular basis than before. The information presented in these videos is concise, delivered well by Dr. Racaniello, and given in small chunks that make it easy to stop and come back at a later time.

Makes the tough subject easier to understand . This app has shown very beneficial. I think I will buy the year subscription after my 3 months are up

Microbiology is a founding block of all things medical. Professor Racaniello made not so easily pronounceable words sound so easy. His pace and style being so pleasant, he made it attractive for me to sit and focus start to end. I look forward to more of his lectures.

They are chunked in small amounts and presented very clearly. The visuals are excellent and the professor’s pace is terrific.

Coming from someone that has never taken microbiology before, I feel as if it's explained simply without All the fluff, especially for a “Ph.D.,” which, from my experience, makes things more complicated than they need to be when giving lectures and quizzes. Ex. When I take the quiz at the end of each lecture I understand what the question is asking, and I'm able to respond Accordingly. This is what's missing in the science classes that I taken at the Schools I've attended.

The content but also the Professor Vincent Racaniello, he is convincing , spacing and detailing what is needed to be captured.

The lecturer speaks clearly and is engaging. The material is presented quite well - in a logical manner. I feel the material could go in a bit more depth (but perhaps later lectures will). I would probably give this series 5 stars, however, I'm currently studying for the USMLE, and I feel half or more of the review questions are extremely low-yield. For example, there are questions about which section of a plant does a specific fungus infect. That's okay to test understanding of the lecture material presented, but I don't want to have that type of question included in my "Spaced Repetition" for memorization. It's a real waste of my limited time and brain space. Please ither remove the low-yield questions, or perhaps a better (and faster) option would be to add an option to turn off the "dumb" questions.

I spent weeks reading and trying to understand from the books but these lectures made it so easy to understand, I also love the fact that it keeps on asking questions so you can remember them. Thank you so much for these lectures, I love them.

I've taken classes from Dr. Racaniello previously on the coursera.org platform. He is a very engaging instructor and he is no different in this Lecturi series, at least for the free part. As a citizen scientist, the full cost is too much so for this series I can only comment on the bacteria sections that are free. The quiz questions are very relevant to the material presented and the reference material is equally good.

Its apt for 2nd yrs....simple and all main points are given.

i chose this rating because the lecture is up to the minute, well researched. and the presentation is straight to the point.

He is so natural , after topic explanation he then takes example of daily life, easy to understand

Well-designed and informative I would recommend that the quiz questions can be more effective. For example, some answers are just memorizing names or some details that are only noted orally for few seconds.

The vedios don't cover many important aspects such as cultures , serology etc. Every topic is over summarised and isn't very good for concept building

I would like to recommend all the USMLE and other medical exam preparing candidates to go through the Lecturio because the lectures are concise and easy to understand.

Videos were superb able to knw the concept very well.please upload more videos of individual parasites bacteria & fungus

Professor Racaniello is engaging. He really has made the study of microbiology enjoyable. This is the best Lecturio course I've taken to date. He has captured my interest. I'm looking forward to the more advanced microbiology course that I'll be taking in a couple of weeks. I would also love to see a Lecturio course on the microbiome, which I feel deserves a program of its own. This alone could be a 12 hour course.

Super clear lectures, covering all of the basics you need for the mcat. Speaks a little slowly, but nothing that the 1.5x button can't fix.

I'm currently taking Microbiology and Lab. It is nice to be able to catch another lecture. The Lecturio lectures are actually more informative than the classroom. I am pleased with what I have learned and I know I will get the better grade.

Everything is clearly explained and it makes it simple to learn.

I enjoy watching these lectures.. it doesn't bore me as a class lecture:P
